Smarter Spaces for Modern Education

Building the Future of Learning

Modern education isn’t just about technology in the classroom — it’s about the environment students learn in. The quality of walls, ceilings, and finishes directly affects concentration, wellbeing, and performance.

At Fieldpark Interiors, we specialise in creating educational interiors that inspire learning, improve efficiency, and stand up to decades of use.
From primary schools and colleges to university campuses, our team brings deep experience across public- and private-sector frameworks, delivering spaces that meet the strict standards of the Department for Education (DfE) and Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA).

How Education Builds Differ

Educational projects are unique within the construction industry. They must balance durability, acoustics, fire performance, sustainability, and aesthetic appeal  often within tight programme windows aligned to academic calendars.

Every design must meet clear performance benchmarks:

  • Acoustic performance (BB93): Controlling noise and reverberation to help students focus.
  • Thermal comfort and ventilation: Supporting healthy environments through Building Bulletin 101.
  • Durability and maintainability: Reducing long-term costs for local authorities and trusts.

Fieldpark Interiors’ expertise lies in coordinating these elements through precisely installed interior systems, fully certified to manufacturer and DfE standards.

Systems That Shape Great Learning Environments

We partner only with trusted manufacturers known for technical integrity and proven performance in educational builds:

  • Knauf – high-impact and fire-rated partition systems for classrooms and circulation routes
  • British Gypsum – acoustic wall linings for libraries, music rooms, and auditoriums
  • Metsec SFS – lightweight framing for new teaching blocks and extensions
  • Siniat – robust, smooth wall finishes ideal for student areas and laboratories
  • Zentia & Ecophon – suspended ceiling systems that improve acoustics and light reflectance
  • Rockfon – acoustic ceiling panels for sports halls and multipurpose spaces
  • Terrix – decorative coatings that resist scuffs and allow easy cleaning

Each system is installed to the manufacturer’s exact specification no substitutions, no shortcuts  ensuring warranty protection and long-term performance.

Educating Through Experience

Fieldpark Interiors doesn’t just deliver  we educate our clients on the technical reasoning behind each solution.

For instance, when designing classroom partitions, we help contractors and architects understand how mass, cavity depth, and insulation influence acoustic performance and fire resistance.
When choosing ceiling systems, we explain how light reflectance values and NRC (Noise Reduction Coefficient) ratings can transform a dull classroom into a bright, calm learning space.

This consultative approach positions Fieldpark as a partner who contributes to design intelligence, not just installation.

Project Spotlight: Tarporley High School & Sixth Form Centre

A £2.5 million government investment aimed to revitalise the Tarporley campus with new roofs, ceilings, and internal upgrades. Fieldpark Interiors was appointed to deliver the partitioning and ceiling package, helping modernise one of Cheshire’s most established schools.

We installed Knauf high-performance partitions and Zentia ceiling grids, balancing acoustic control with modern aesthetics.
The works were phased around live school operations  ensuring safety, programme discipline, and minimal disruption to staff and pupils.

This project demonstrated our ability to integrate technical systems, coordinate trades, and hand over on time while maintaining exceptional finish quality.

The Details That Matter

Education builds succeed when details are respected.

  • Acoustics: Children learn better in quiet spaces  our Zentia and Rockfon systems reduce echo to improve speech intelligibility.
  • Durability: Walls finished with Knauf and Siniat systems resist daily impact from furniture and movement.
  • Hygiene: Terrix coatings make surfaces easier to clean, maintaining air quality.
  • Sustainability: Manufacturer-approved systems align with BREEAM and lifecycle cost goals.

By treating specification as science, not suggestion, Fieldpark ensures every school we help build performs exactly as intended.

Collaboration from Tender to Handover

Fieldpark Interiors works closely with Tier 1 contractors, architects, and cost consultants from early design to completion.
Our design-assist capability helps identify optimal materials, sequencing, and risk reduction before construction even begins.

We manage delivery through detailed programme planning, site coordination, and quality assurance, ensuring safety and compliance throughout.
Whether the project is a modular classroom build, a multi-storey teaching block, or a full campus redevelopment, Fieldpark’s team brings the systems knowledge and onsite precision that make the difference.

Why Contractors Choose Fieldpark

  • Proven delivery on DfE and ESFA-funded projects
  • Manufacturer-trained installers ensuring certification and warranty validity
  • Experience working in live education environments safely and efficiently
  • End-to-end collaboration that de-risks the project lifecycle
