Fieldpark Interiors Ltd was appointed to deliver the specialist interior refurbishment works to the ground floor of the C-GULL Building at the University of Liverpool Cancer Research Centre. The project forms part of a wider investment to modernise healthcare and research facilities, creating a high-quality, functional environment for staff and visitors.
The refurbishment focuses on transforming the existing space into a contemporary reception and waiting area, incorporating upgraded internal layouts, coordinated services integration and premium interior finishes suitable for a sensitive research setting.

Project Scope
• Metal Stud Partitions & Drylining
Installation of bespoke metal stud partition systems to form reception, waiting and support areas. All systems were installed to meet required fire, acoustic and performance standards appropriate to a healthcare research environment.
• Suspended Ceiling Systems
Supply and installation of suspended ceiling systems, fully coordinated with lighting, ventilation and access requirements, delivering both functional performance and a high-quality architectural finish.
• Acoustic Performance Solutions
Integration of acoustic wall and ceiling solutions to reduce noise transfer and enhance comfort levels within public-facing areas.
• Plastering & Internal Finishes
High-quality plastering and finishing works to walls and ceilings, providing smooth, durable surfaces prepared for final decoration in line with healthcare standards.
• Bespoke Joinery Interfaces
Coordination and integration of bespoke timber screens and feature elements, ensuring seamless alignment with Fieldpark-installed partitions and ceilings.
• M&E Services Coordination
Close coordination with mechanical and electrical trades to ensure all Fieldpark-installed systems accommodated lighting, ventilation and service penetrations without compromise to fire or acoustic performance.
