Fieldpark Interiors were appointed to deliver a comprehensive interiors package for the redevelopment of Longsight Police Station in Manchester. The scheme provided modern, high-performance spaces to support frontline policing operations, custody facilities, welfare areas, and community engagement spaces.

Project Scope

Our works included the full range of dry lining and finishing solutions required for a secure, durable, and compliant environment:

• Drylining & Partition Systems – Formation of secure interview rooms, custody support areas, offices, and operational zones using robust stud and plasterboard systems.
• Specialist Suspended Ceilings – Installation of high-performance ceiling systems across offices, welfare facilities, and custody areas, with specialist detailing to integrate lighting, M&E, and security systems.
• Anti-Ligature Solutions – Ceilings, trims, and finishes designed to reduce ligature risks within custody suites, ensuring compliance with national policing standards and safeguarding requirements.
• Plastering & Finishes – Smooth skim plaster finishes across walls and partitions, built to withstand the demands of a high-traffic, 24/7 policing environment.
• Acoustic Performance – Enhanced sound insulation between custody suites, interview rooms, and offices, ensuring privacy and confidentiality.
