Fieldpark Interiors Ltd was appointed to deliver the internal refurbishment and specialist fit-out works at Grange School, a specialist education provider supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and complex learning needs.
The project formed part of a wider programme to enhance learning environments, improve spatial functionality, and deliver safe, accessible interiors specifically tailored to the sensory and educational requirements of SEN pupils.
All works were delivered within an occupied school environment, requiring careful planning, robust health & safety management and close collaboration with school leadership to ensure minimal disruption to pupils, staff and day-to-day teaching activities.
Project Scope
Installation of bespoke metal stud partition and drylining systems to form classrooms, therapy spaces, quiet zones and administrative areas. Layouts were designed to support specialist learning needs while meeting required fire, acoustic and performance standards.
Supply and installation of suspended ceiling systems, fully coordinated with lighting, ventilation and service access, delivering improved acoustic control and a clean, functional educational finish.
Integration of acoustic wall and ceiling treatments to reduce noise transfer, minimise distractions and create calm learning environments appropriate for pupils with ASD.
High-quality plastering and finishing works to walls and ceilings, providing smooth, durable surfaces prepared for final decoration and suitable for long-term educational use.
Incorporation of sensory-friendly surfaces, clear visual wayfinding elements and robust, easy-to-clean finishes to support pupil wellbeing, safety and accessibility.
Close coordination with mechanical, electrical and audio-visual trades to ensure seamless integration of lighting, HVAC and specialist classroom systems within Fieldpark-installed partitions and ceilings.
